Authority of Ataya
Acrylic, airbrush and prismacolor on Paper (Fabriano 5, 300 gsm)
Legends tell of the Ataya, a forgotten order, or perhaps only a story, passed from fighter to fighter in quiet moments before battle. They speak of warriors locked in endless combat, not for conquest, but because neither would yield. Their names have faded, their purpose lost, yet the image endures - two figures circling each other through time, bound not by hatred, but by the glory of the fight. Authority of Ataya is a seal made of ancient stone and gold. On its surface, two mirrored mighty warrior figures are locked in eternal combat, encircling one another. Its presence signifies that the fight is now sanctioned and inescapable. Retreat or defense becomes impossible, it is a fight to the death.
